Bert is the director of the GO FAIR Foundation since its start in 2018. He is a senior business executive with a successful track record in finance, network, information and data technology. Bert has worked in a variety of management roles in different countries (The Netherlands, Far East/Hong Kong, Switzerland, Germany and Belgium).

Barend is molecular biologist by training, leading FAIR data specialist and corresponding author of the FAIR Principles paper. He is Professor in biosemantics at the LUMC and the LACDR and is known for innovations in scholarly collaboration, especially nanopublications, knowledge graph-based discovery, and the FAIR data initiative.

Erik is educated as an electronic engineer with a focus on deployment computer science and worked at the central IT department of the LUMC with a special attention to privacy and security participating in EU programs. From 2013 Information Manager with focus on Research innovation.

Erik is an evolutionary biologist. He is the FAIR Implementation Lead at GFF, Senior Researcher at LACDR, and Scientific Director at partners in FAIR. Erik is most known for his leadership role in the development of machine-actionable FAIR Implementation Profiles and scalable approaches to the creation of domain relevant, machine-actionable metadata.

Barbara is FAIR Development and Fellowship Coordinator with a background in landscape ecology, GIS and semantics. She is trainer of the 3-Point FAIRification Framework, for which she developed core components. Within European projects (ENVRI, eLTER, PARC) she helps to FAIR assess data and services and to develop semantic frameworks (I-ADOPT).

Hana has a background in business administration and management. She joined the CODATA Secretariat as Operations Manager in Dec 2019 and is supporting the strategic activities of the CODATA Executive Committee. In addition, she has also been managing operations of the GO FAIR International Support and Coordination Office since October 2018.

Jacintha has over 20 years of experience managing data intensive initiatives within academic and commercial organizations, many of which were progenitors of FAIR. She is the personal assistant to Barend Mons and offers support to the full GO FAIR Foundation team.
