Wonsik "Jeff" Shim is a professor in the Department of Library and Information Science at Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul, Korea. His research interests include open research data and scholary communication, and he holds a Ph.D. from Rutgers University. Since 2018, he has been the chair of ISO TC 46 (Information and Documentation)/SC 8 (Quality-Statistics and Performance Evaluation).
